Aurinkotupa

We are a café near the winter ski trails in Ylläsjärvi, about five kilometres from the Ylläs fell center. Dogs are also welcome.

Services

Cafe

The cafe is open every day during the high season. We bake fresh buns every morning, and buns are baked throughout the day. And for lunch, there is always soup of the day. At the Energy Bar you'll find quick power-ups for your skiing. We also have a cosy outdoor terrace next to the café. Welcome to the cafe to enjoy!

P.s. Your furry friends are also welcome indoors :).

Reindeer Yard

In winter you can also get to know the reindeer. The reindeer live in the little fenced yard right next to the café, and you can say hello to these guys from the other side of the fence. Be sure to go quietly so that the reindeer dare to say hello to you!

Children's ski area and Sledding hill

The children's ski area is a short track, the perfect place for a child to learn the secrets of skiing under supervision. It's also a great place for adults to test out different skis and ski waxes. The track is open to all.
In the sledding hill you will find wild rides for the whole family!

The Lodges

Looking for a place to go and fry sausages? We have just the place! The lodge is free to use, and the wood are available from us. The lodge is on a ridge overlooking to the forested hill and the ski area. Adults can prepare snacks while the children ski on the slopes. Remember, however, that open fires should not be left unattended.
